Karasu Rehabilitation Program

The Karasu micro-district rehabilitation program was launched in December 2016 with the aim of restoring and conserving the local environmental and architectural heritage, including Karasu lake and Praviy Essentai river, and developing public spaces such as parks, sports facilities, and playgrounds to improve social infrastructure. The goal of the program is to create a sustainable and vibrant community for the residents of Karasu. Mr. Sergey Vassilyev, a Kazakhstani public activist, played a crucial role in initiating the program.
